On Monday, May 13th, Mathilde Boulachin, founder and CEO of Chavin, had the immense honor of carrying the Paris 2024 Olympic Flame during the relay held in Sète. This significant event was a true celebration of the values of Olympism and left an indelible mark on the hearts of all participants and spectators.
Mathilde reflects on this extraordinary experience with deep gratitude. “It was much more than a mere honor for me. It was an opportunity to represent the values I hold dear: the energy of sport, the energy of the territory, and the energy of the collective. Each step I took carried the flame of commitment and self-transcendence, so characteristic of the Paris 2024 Relay.”
This event brought together many people around the flame, a powerful symbol of peace and unity. “I was deeply moved to see so many people gather around this flame. This event was a chance to celebrate our cultural heritage and national pride, in a spirit of solidarity and international competition,” adds Mathilde.
The opportunity to participate in this adventure highlighted French sport, territory, and entrepreneurship. “I am grateful to have played a role in this wonderful adventure, which showcased French sport, territory, and entrepreneurship. Thank you to everyone who supported and accompanied me throughout this journey,” she says.
